Volkhard Krech is Professor of Religious Studies at Bochum University in Germany and Director of the International Research Consortium on "Dynamics in the History of Religions" as well as of the Center for Religious Studies. He held his talk at the Herrenhausen Conference "Religious Pluralisation - A Challenge for Modern Societies" on October 4-6, 2016, where the challenges of religious pluralization and the contribution to be made by interreligious dialogue in the areas of societal and scientific discourse were discussed.
